Accessibility Policy
Inclusion is an important value of Mesa Gastrointestinal Associates (“Mesa GI”), a division of Arizona Digestive Health & The GI Alliance, and we want to provide all website visitors an accessible, valuable and efficient experience when using our site. Our goal is for our website to be accessible to our visitors, clients, patients and community, regardless of ability or access to technology.
We are committed to constantly improving the accessibility of our website for all users so each person can easily navigate our site and find the information they need. As such, we strive to be in compliance with the ADA Compliance Regulations as defined by Section 508 of the United States Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and within the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
For Our Website Visitors Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
Our website does not currently include video or audio content: information about our physicians, services, new patient process and locations is provided as text. If we add video in the future, it will include closed captions or a written description of its content.
If you are deaf or hard of hearing, you can reach our Queen Creek office by fax at 480-461-1657 or by email at mesagi@arizonadigestivehealth.com, or call us through the Arizona Relay Service by dialing 711.
Additional Standard Accessibility Practices
If you require assistance to see web pages or are having difficulty viewing pages, try these tips from the U.S. Social Security Administration:
- Make use of the accessibility features of a modern smartphone or tablet.
- Make use of the accessibility features of a modern computer or laptop.
- Use your computer to read web pages out loud.
- Use the keyboard to navigate screens.
- Increase text size.
- Magnify your screen.
- Change background and text colors.
- Make your cursor, or mouse pointer, more visible (Windows only).
If you are looking for mouse and keyboard alternatives, speech recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking or other accessibility software may help you navigate web pages and online services.
Forms, Documents and Third-Party Services
Some content on our website is provided as downloadable PDF documents (such as our new patient forms) or by third-party services we do not control: the Open Access Colonoscopy form (hosted by Formsite), the Patient Portal and the Google Maps on our Contact & Location page. These may not be fully accessible with every assistive technology.
If you have trouble using any of them, please call us at 480-461-1088. Our staff can complete a form with you by phone, give you directions, or provide the information in another format.
Our Continued Efforts
Because we continuously strive to make improvements to our site, the process is always ongoing.
We welcome your feedback as we build a more accessible web experience for our website visitors. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions, or if you come across a part of the site you cannot use, please contact us:
